Chris Russell draws a lot, often on his commute, mostly on the 7 train in New York City. In 2018 he began drawing small portraits of fellow subway riders on acetate or transparencies, then photographing the drawings in the space the rider vacated when they left the train. He made a one-page mini-book from a few of these drawings, and he gave me a copy way back when. I asked him if I could share it with Siglio readers. He kindly said yes, so here it is.

Print it out (from the link above) on a 8-1/2″ × 11″ sheet of paper. To fold and cut your mini-book, follow Chris’s directions on YouTube (he taught a mini-comics book class for The Believer last year). Just make sure the first fold keeps the printed side on the outside!
