General Order Info

 

Your order directly supports the health of the press—particularly, in the short term as Siglio weathers a very rough year (2021 is harder even than 2020)—and helps secure its longevity. I thank you immensely for your direct order which will receive the current edition of siglio ephemera for free. It’s a little thank you for your support.

Orders are fulfilled by our warehouse in New Jersey which I’ve visited, and I know it is following CDC protocols and keeping its employees safe. It’s a small, family-run operation, so give them 2-3 business days to fulfill the order, in addition to shipping times. Media mail takes longer than it used to because of the crisis the USPS suffered at the hands of its current Postmaster General. (Cheer on your local USPS employees, and meanwhile, call your Senator and Congressperson to tell them that Louis DeJoy should be fired.)

Do note that USPS Media Mail orders are not insured, but I can provide a delivery confirmation number, if you request it. Please note that any package USPS tracking says has been delivered cannot be replaced (at the point the postperson leaves it at your door, Siglio has no more responsibility. But, if it’s lost in transit, then I will certainly get another copy out to you at Siglio’s expense.  Also, note that limited editions orders incur a surcharge of $12 to cover the special packing and handling (which I personally do at Siglio HQ) and to insure them for the full value, if lost or damaged in transit. Limited editions orders are final. There are no returns.

RETURNS are accepted for any reason if sent back in mint condition with the packing slip to Siglio’s HQ address in Catskill (see below) within thirty days of receipt. Do give me a heads up that you’re returning it, particularly as I’ll be able to process your refund faster. But if your book arrives damaged or with printer’s errors, please let me know as soon as possible and no later than a week after its arrival, so that I can either issue you a refund or send you a replacement.

Your credit card and personal information is handled with the utmost care.  We do not share, rent, sell or barter your personal information with anyone. If you prefer to order off-line, just give us a call.

Discounts are offered a few times a year, mostly to those on the mailing list, or through Twitter and Instagram (@sigliopress).

International Orders

 

Write to me directly if you are ordering from anywhere besides Canada or the UK, listing the books you’d like to order. I’ll issue you an invoice with precisely the amount due for shipping (the cost I pay the US Postal Service). The current shopping cart cannot calculate specific rates for specific countries, so this is the next best option.

Do note that insurance is an extra cost and that the recipient is fully responsible for any/all taxes, duties, or fees levied in the recipient’s country. Siglio is not responsible for any shipment seized by customs or not delivered by your local postal affiliate. All sales shipped to international destinations are final. There are no returns or refunds.

Siglio Advocate subscriptions are not available outside the U.S., but I can give you a discount code to apply for any order over $150 that will help offset shipping costs.

We do appreciate your jumping through these hoops to get your order from Siglio; however, your local bookstore may be able to get the book for you too as we do have international distribution—you can even put your bookstore in touch with me! Also, Powells.com ships abroad and can offer much more competitive shipping prices than we can.
